Description
This is a delightful piece of Inuit art from Hopedale, Labrador. The artist is unknown, but has created a fantastic bear carving. The proportions of the bear seem slightly exaggerated but work well. The lines and the pose of the piece are great. A nicely polished predominately dark stone with some green mottling.
