Description

Rarer, older, Dogsled by Unidentified. This carving of sled, hunter and dogs comes from a private collection, probably purchased around 1975, either Iqaluit or Pangnirtung. The work has nice details such as the harness toggles, etc. There is some age related checking off the ivory of the hunter.

Many countries prohibit or restrict importation or exportation of property containing ivory, whale bone, sealskin, and/or products derived from other endangered or protected species, and require special licenses or permits in order to import or export such property. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that the item is properly and lawfully exported / imported.

Due to the CITES rules with regard to Ivory, this Dog Sled by Unidentified  can only be sold within Canada
