Description

A fantastic piece carved by Louie Makkituq, an artist from Kugaaruk. This piece displays shamanistic and transformation themes, which are important elements of Inuit culture. The light, creamy coloured stone used in this piece is beautiful, and eye-catching. The use of antler for the base of the piece provides another layer of textural interest. This is a beautiful piece of art.
