Description
This Muskox by David Arnasungaaq from Baker Lake is a nice example of David’s talents. David is the son of the renowned Baker Lake sculptor Barnabus Arnasungaaq. This muskox carved in the volcanic Basalt stone shows the Baker Lake influence and Barnabus’s style. The carving was purchased by a private collector directly in Baker Lake, probably sometime around 2002. A nice carving by a gifted artist.
